Meet Leander. A firefighter by day and the owner of Amsterdam Countryside Tours, he was inspired to start his tour company after joining an art tour in Miami, USA. As proud locals, he and his team love giving travellers the real Dutch experience. It’s no wonder his tour has won an AirBnB award for “Best Expertise”.
What's This Experience About?
This all-inclusive experience is seasonal. For just 6 weeks in March and April, endless rows of hyacinths, daffodils and tulips come into full bloom! Leander and team takes you to the best spots to experience them where no tour buses can. Visit a tulip bulb farmer, explore the fields and learn about all things tulip! But that’s not all. Connect over a delicious Dutch apple by the North Sea and enjoy the view. Book early to avoid disappointment.

“We spent six days in Amsterdam and this was the highlight. Phillip was super knowledgable, and took us on a route that avoided the crowds that were starting to form. Maybe it’s because he’s a firefighter. You can’t help but feel safe around Leander. He’s got everything under control. It’s all cool. When my family came over to visit, I (Alexandra) knew Leander would give them the Dutch cultural experience of their lives. Because of his relationships with everyone — from the cheese to clog makers, flower farmers to windmill wizards — we were able to enter and experience places no one else could. This is exactly why we’re proud to have Leander in our inner circle.
