I used to sit in sales meetings talking targets while my heart was already wandering the canals collecting stories. So I quit corporate life and started Who Is Amsterdam Tours to do what I actually care about: connecting visitors with the real, human Amsterdam.
I’m a storyteller with a soft spot for humour, spoken-word moments and the tiny details that make you fall for a city.
When I’m not guiding, I’m probably eating strawberries, yelling at a football match (calmly, of course), scribbling spoken word, or disappearing into nature to reset.

Our tours run rain or shine, but not in extreme weather (like storms or weather warnings). If that happens, we’ll get in touch with you.
Otherwise, come prepared:
If it’s sunny: sunscreen, something to cover your head (hat, scarf, or even an umbrella for shade), and water.
If it’s rainy: a proper rain jacket and a sturdy umbrella (ideally both).
And always: comfortable shoes—we’ll be walking over centuries-old cobblestones.

Our tours are interactive, engaging, and educational, and we’ve had many happy young guests. That said, Amsterdam is a liberal city, and we do touch on topics like the Red Light District and cannabis. We keep it respectful and informative, and some parents choose to briefly step aside during those parts.
