How does this work?
This is a guided food tour that offers a unique and immersive culinary experience. After booking, you will receive detailed information about where and when to meet your local guide. On the day of the tour, you will be guided to 6 authentic food stops in Amsterdam’s beautiful Jordaan district. During the tour, you will taste 7 different typical Dutch foods along with 2 drinks (your choice of wine, beer, soft drink, coffee, or tea). The guide’s fee of 35 EUR is covered by your upfront payment when booking. On the day of the tour, you will pay 38 EUR for the food and drinks directly to the guide. This can be paid upfront in cash or with a debit or credit card. In addition to tasting the food, you will learn about Dutch food traditions and Amsterdam’s past, present, and future through our engaging and immersive storytelling.
Is this an all-inclusive food tour? What's included?
The price includes your local guide, who will share stories about Dutch food culture and Amsterdam. The guide will also take you to 7 authentic food stops where you will taste 7 typical Dutch foods. The prices for the food specials are not included in the tour price. The total food costs of 38 EUR for all tastings and 2 drinks of choice (your choice of wine, beer, soft drink, coffee, or tea) need to be paid upfront with the guide in cash or via debit or credit card.

I'm a vegetarian / vegan. Can I join?
Vegetarians, rejoice! We have veggie options for all stops except for two (fish and meat). Vegans and folks on a gluten-free diet, we’re sorry. This country runs on butter, eggs and wheat.
How many stops are there?
We’ll hit up around 6 foodie stops. All of them are beloved mom-and-pop shops, an authentic, local, iconic brand that’s swept the nation by storm for generations. You’ll meet the family business that has a client coming for more than 100 years.
What happens when it rains?
We say, “There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.” So this experience runs rain or shine. In the event of extremely bad weather, we’ll cancel the tour in advance, and you’ll get a 100% refund.
What's the minimum/maximum group size?
The minimum group size is 2 persons and the maximum is 10.
