Wanna Know More?
“A spur of the moment decision to take mill to mill tour and glad that we did. Great experience with a knowledgeable skipper who was proud of Haarlem and its heritage. Made to feel welcome and came away knowing much more about Haarlem. Weather was perfect, blue sky and sunshine. Would definitely recommend taking this tour.”

“A wonderful 90-minute trip on the Spaarne along interesting buildings. Once we’re outside the city center, beautiful nature and houseboats on one side and the capital with historical houses on the other. The skipper also knew a lot of nice things to tell about the two mills from which this cruise owes its name: mill to mill. Knowledge and a lot of humour, a good combination. This was very nice. Definitely recommended.”

“While we were in the Netherlands we did several boat tours in different cities and this I felt was the best! Our boat skipper was very good and shared a wealth of knowledge about Haarlem. This company has excellent service. We were originally scheduled to go on our tour on a different day but due to our late arrival in Haarlem from our missd flight, we missed our tour. They honored our tickets and allowed us to pick a new date and time without penalty. Would recommend this tour!”

Sustainability is a buzzword these days. But to Tomas, it’s not just business, it’s personal. During the lockdown of 2021, I (Alexandra) took up a sustainable tourism project with the city of Amsterdam and had the pleasure of interviewing Tomas. From the get-go, he was open, warm and passionate. I loved the way he views sustainability as a way to give back to the city he was born in and loves. His canal cruise companies were among the first to go green on the waters of Amsterdam and Haarlem. His enthusiasm and collaborative spirit in working with like-minded businesses are infectious. This is why we’re proud to have Tomas and Smidtje on board.
